What is Laser Hair Removal?
Laser hair removal is the method of using light and energy to damage or kill dark roots. Laser looks for dark pigment within the hair follicle and targets it. Because the laser light looks for hair pigment, the hair root must be dark. If the hair isn’t dark, the laser light won’t be able to see it. We use a Candela GentleMax, which has a 755 Alexandrite, and we use the YAG laser for those with dark skin. We can handle any clients of any skin type!
Does Laser Hair Removal Hurt?
While laser hair removal can cause some discomfort, it is one method that hurts less. Laser hair removal is an effective way of removing hair without causing nearly as much pain as a method like waxing.
